Sat, 19 Apr 2008 16:29 Request for Pedestrian Crossing in Main Street Since the accident that occured on 14th January involving 9 year old Katie Crosson the Parish Council, with the support of Cllr David Houseman, have been corresponding with Leicestershire County Council to have a Pedestrian Crossing outside of the Royal Oak. Unfortunately they have been unsuccessful. The County Council feel that they need to direct their resources towards those roads where it is most needed Tue, 09 Oct 2007 10:48 Church gets planning approval All Saints' Church PCC is delighted to announce that planning permission has now been granted for the extension to the Church.This will make such an improvement to the facilities available in the village for all to enjoy. It is situated behind the War Memorial next to the Parish Church.It is hoped that the school will benefit from this facility preventing the mothers having to park on the main busy road. |
