Everyone in the village is welcome to 'Come back to Church'on Sunday 21st September,2008. The service in Cossington will be Morning Worship at 9.00am. Do try and make the effort to come along.

The WI is hiolding an Open Meeting on Wednesday 10th September,2008 when we welcome anyone from the village to come along. Mr Andrew Fear from Budgens will be showing us all how to make a pasty.

Cossington Village will be holding its annual Village Fete on Sunday June 7th on the school playing fields between 1200 - 1430.
Attractions include a display of vintage bicycles, a Tombola, Cake stall, bouncy castle and other children's games.
We look forward to seeing you all there for a great afternoons entertainment.

Since the accident that occured on 14th January involving 9 year old Katie Crosson the Parish Council, with the support of Cllr David Houseman, have been corresponding with Leicestershire County Council to have a Pedestrian Crossing outside of the Royal Oak. Unfortunately they have been unsuccessful. The County Council feel that they need to direct their resources towards those roads where it is most needed

All Saints' Church PCC is delighted to announce that planning permission has now been granted for the extension to the Church.This will make such an improvement to the facilities available in the village for all to enjoy.

The Car Park provided by the Parish Council has now been completed. It is situated behind the War Memorial next to the Parish Church.It is hoped that the school will benefit from this facility preventing the mothers having to park on the main busy road.
